West Texas Business Litigation and Construction Defects
I have represented businesses in breach of contract actions, fiduciary duty actions, collection cases, partnership disputes, and other similar types of actions. Typical types of business disputes in West Texas include, but are not limited to, royalty disputes, breach of drilling agreements, termination of Master Service Agreements, lease disputes, shareholder claims, etc.
I have also represented hundreds of businesses in construction defect claims against them, and I have represented individual property owners regarding construction defects on their property. I have also represented individuals and businesses in claims against property insurers for failing to pay sufficiently after hail storms, fire losses, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters. Typical construction defects include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Negligently installed building components such as foundations, roofs, windows, HVAC systems, exterior cladding (stucco, EIFS, asbestos, etc.);
- Improper grading and drainage;
- Code violations involving public facilities including schools, police stations, convention centers, public arenas, etc.
